Best decision ever! I debated dog training for about a year and, if I’m being honest, I tried other options that just never worked. I found Walker K-9 through a friend, and it has truly been the best thing for my dogs! My dogs needed help for different reasons (nuisance barking, jumping, being uncontrollable on a leash, reactivity etc) and Chad and Kelly took them on and gave them back new and improved! I loved that they kept in touch, sent videos, and kept me updated every step of the way. My favorite part, though, was the time they took to make sure I felt comfortable taking over where they left off. The in-home training when the dogs came home was amazing. They made sure they gave me all the tools and knowledge necessary to set us up for success. I truly feel like I have an open door to reach out to them anytime with questions if I need help. I can actually enjoy my dogs now! I think they even like having the structure, and I can finally take them out for walks and actually enjoy the experience instead of feeling stressed the entire time. Chad is wonderful! Walker K-9 is family first and we love that. He has trained 3 of our babies. A mastiff who had dog aggression an Aussie for standard training and a toy poodle who liked to dart out the door including the car door and not coming when called. Chad has made all our life’s much better with his training. He had his work cut out for him with Milford the poodle!

We had such a great experience with Walker K-9 Training working with our 6-month-old Great Dane, Charlee! 🐾 Great Danes are BIG dogs with big personalities, and we wanted to make sure Charlee was learning good manners and obedience while she’s still young. Walker K-9 was patient, knowledgeable, and really took the time to understand Charlee and work with her individually. Walker K9 is by far the best training service we have used! They truly care about every dog they work with. Our dogs came home happier, better behaved, and clearly well cared for. I was nervous about handing over my 2 yr old rescue dog,Chipper, for training after only having her for 5 months, but she kept jumping up on me and my boyfriend and we actually still have scars from her nails..Before I met Chad and had only seen pics of him online, I thought OMG ,I'd listen to him,so I'm pretty sure Chipper will..Chad turned out to be a "sheep" in wolves clothing..very sweet..Kelly and Chad are amazingly kind and understanding.They not only train your dog, they also train you. Chipper came home a much calmer dog,no longer jumping on us or our company. She does extremely well with the place command when we have visitors. Chad and Kelly have followed up on her and offer any help if needed. I am looking forward to using them to board Chipper in the future...Highly recommend...

Trusting someone with your dog is a big decision, but Chad and Kelly made that decision so much easier. From our very first meeting, I could tell they were genuinely good people and felt completely comfortable leaving my dog Skye in their hands. Chad and Kelly stayed in regular contact throughout her training. Sending multiple updates, photos, and videos each week, making the six weeks apart so much easier. Skye has been home for two weeks now and the difference is incredible. The biggest change for me is the confidence I have letting her off leash in my backyard without worrying she’ll take off or chase after something. I no longer stress about her bolting out the front door and no more pulling on our walks. She has also been amazing around company. She still gets to be her happy, playful self but when company has had enough, Skye calmly goes to her place and stays. I am also impressed by the support after the program. Picture a 75lb 6 month old puppy. That’s my Cooper and he was getting out of control. I’ve had dogs all my life but Cooper is a unique and powerful breed. I kinda gawked at the prices for training, all over the place. I knew Cooper needed special training. That’s when I contacted Walker K-9, Chad and Kelly. I was so impressed with their training compound and taking the time to evaluate Cooper and determine the best training plan for him. Chad’s professionalism and extensive knowledge of different breeds, small and large was impressive. You could tell he loves what he does, it’s his passion. After a month at training, Cooper is a different dog. He’s listens to commands, is a dream to walk, and no more play biting. I loved the training videos sent to me several times a week. They are quick to respond to any questions and the best part was my husband and I received our own training and practice commands, heeling, and collars…yes I got buzzed with the collar just to feel what Cooper may feel if used. I honestly cannot say enough good things about K9 Walker Training, Chad, and Kelly. Before Tuna went to board and train, he was a handful. He jumped on me constantly, didn't listen, pulled me wherever he wanted to go, and was becoming aggressive with my five smaller dogs. I loved him to pieces, but I knew I needed help. At over 100 pounds, he was quickly becoming more dog than I could handle on my own. Fast forward six weeks, and Tuna has now been home for two days, and I am still in shock at the transformation. He walks beautifully on leash, heels off leash, has an amazing recall, understands place, and is actually looking to me for direction. He's calmer, more focused, and honestly feels like a completely different dog. What impressed me most wasn't just the training itself, but how Chad and Kelly set us up for success. They didn't just train Tuna they taught me how to continue building on everything he learned. The foundation they've given us is priceless. Chad and Kelli worked wonders with our new German Shepherd. After losing our longtime family dog several years ago, my husband and I finally felt ready to welcome another dog into our home. Unfortunately, our new addition came with several behavioral challenges, including jumping, biting at our feet, arms, and hands while walking or even standing still, pulling on the leash, and not listening to commands. We also did not feel comfortable having him around our young grandchildren. Chad and Kelly are wonderful trainers and fantastic to work with. Our Airedale is very high energy and was hard for my husband and I to train. We did the 4 week session and when she came home she was a much better behaved dog. They updated us with several photos and videos during those 4 weeks. When they brought Maxine home to us they spent almost 2 hours to make sure we were comfortable using all the commands. If we have any questions or problems they encouraged us to reach out to them. We highly recommend Chad and Kelly for dog training.

We have a 2 1/2 year old German Shepherd, Max who has had very high energy, didn’t respond well to my commands, jumped on people when they first came in the door, when walking would bark at people and dogs and was constantly following our two cats around. I decided to look into got training to calm him and have him listen. I talked to a few trainers and felt confident with Kelly and Chad at Walker K-9 Training. We did the 4 week training course. When Kelly and Chad brought Max back to us we quickly noticed he was so much better! They spent a couple of hours going over everything they taught him. They are always checking on us to make sure everything is going good and respond right away to any questions we have. It’s so great to have Max go to his place when answering the door and to take him on a walk that is enjoyed now! We realize we picked the best dog trainers and couldn’t be happier!

German Shepherds are a very intelligent, loyal and strong willed breed. We knew this when we got our beautiful girl, but we weren’t quite prepared for what that actually meant… We realized when she was about 7 months old that we didn’t have the skills or the training to bring out the best in her. The proverbial “straw” moment occurred after a particularly stressful telework day during which my sweet pup barked and carried on during a TEAMS meeting with BOTH my bosses. I told her dad when he got home that his dog needed Jesus. I was SO frustrated. Enter Chad and Kelly McJesus, the literal answer to my prayers! They have helped my little devil dog learn how to be an angel. Better yet, they have helped us learn how to be better pet parents. We know we can call or text at any time if we need help or have questions. They kept in touch consistently during and after the training, and our pup still goes back to visit regularly! This is Becky Verveer, name change. Where do I begin to tell you about Walker K-9 training Chad and Kelly hit my expectations beyond what I thought my Mia could accomplish! I heard of them through my Vet, I reached out to Chad and he was so very helpful, kind, laid back and easy to ask questions to about my concerns with my Dog. Mia is a 80 pounds plus Coonhound and Rottweiler mix 2 year old , then with no self control of being behaved. She was a jumper, licker, never listened, counter surfer, high energy, but so very sweet and lovable. I knew I needed help to give her and myself a calmer life…… Chad was not pushy, as I called him and texted him many times before I made my final decision. It really wasn’t about the price , I was worried she would have a different personality if her actions were corrected. I brought her for the six week program, cried when I left, but Chad and Kelly sent pictures, videos, Text messages very often, and I could reach out to them whenever I wanted. My other main objective was my 83 year old mother, Mia loved to jump on her when she would visit, and I can’t have that, well let me tell you , my mom dog sat her for the first time since her training and My Mom was so proud of her, she listened to all her commands and didn’t jump on her at all, Hallelujah!!!! I could never imagine that Chad and Kelly would be able to get this stubborn girl to listen, but with love, excellent trainers, amazing people, a beautiful facility, they not only did , and her personality didn’t change one bit, Mia is even more happy, calmer and such a terrific Dog!!! They still check in with Mia and myself and even come see her. We will always be connected, that is part of their program. After having our 2 year old German shepherd for 6 months she developed a powerful reactivity to dogs. I tried my best but was not connecting. A lot of three steps forward four steps back. After Walker K9 was recommended to me by the third person, we took Billie in for the 3 weeks on leash training. They worked with Billie for three weeks drilling basic obedience and exposure to public spaces. The most important thing is they gave me the tools to connect with my dog. I learned what I was doing wrong, right away. After three weeks of running reps with Chad and the crew, she had the muscle memory down. Then we applied it to our life step by step. Every day we get to have fun “aha” moments when we play and train. Because she just keeps learning. I can see it in her when it happens and I learn just as much. Having a reactive dog is a big challenge. I don’t think a three week course is going to rewire 100 years of breeding, but the training can give you the tools to recondition. We did the training 3 months ago. Here’s a couple videos of Billie at the fence line of the dog park. This was impossible last year. And honestly it’s still a work in progress but the trajectory is correct and thrilling to be apart of.

Kelly and Chad are both amazing trainers. They’re easy to talk to and great at teaching the best methods. My Belgian had several behavioral things to work on. She wasn’t a bad dog, just stubborn and needed someone other than me. They kept in touch and gave me progress reports. I highly recommend them and their services. It a great investment and teaches your dog how to be more relaxed and calm in all situations. I couldn’t be more happy and proud with June and the success by Walker K9. Thank you so much!

I cannot say enough about my experience with Walker K-9 training. I have a Husky/Australian Shepherd (Henry) and quite honestly did not know what I was doing with a large dog, but more specifically his breed. Henry was for lack of better words a little crazy and I wasn’t giving him consistently and structure. Henry can, and wants to learn and loves the consistency. He comes with me everywhere and it’s been a game changer. Most importantly I learned the skills I needed to make sure he was successful after leaving! The Walkers followed up with me and sent the coolest pics of his progress (some attached). Even weeks/months later they checked in and made sure everything was going well and if I needed anything or any issues I was having. I will never have another dog that doesn’t go to Walker K9 training and only regret was not doing it sooner. Thank you times a trillion!

We were having a hard time with our dog. He had some aggression issues and he’d drag us down the block during walks. We knew he needed training. After the 6 week program it was almost like a new dog came home. He listens, the aggression is gone, and walks are a pleasure. While it was hard not having the dog home for 6 weeks, we were constantly kept in the loop with text message, videos, and pictures. I highly recommend Walker K-9 training. We purchased a Belgian Malinois and recognized that he would require training due to his high energy levels and the breed's overall temperament. After researching and contacting several trainers, we decided to work with Walker K-9, and it was an excellent choice. They are highly professional, and our dog is now well-behaved and responsive to commands. The six-week training period was challenging, but it was absolutely worth it. He was very excited to see us when we returned for training sessions. Additionally, their support extends beyond the training period. They remain available to assist with any issues or concerns that may arise. I plan to use their services again when I get my second dog.

We could not be happier with our experience from Walker K-9! Our lovely dog Teddy had issues with guests and general impulse control and after a board and train with Walker K-9 he’s like a new dog! Everything was so clean and well maintained, and knowing the training took place on their property, where our dogs were always in sight, made us feel even more confident in trusting them with our girls. They explained the training process and showed us all the equipment that would be used. The hands on training sessions halfway through the program and again when they came home were invaluable. Training both at the facility and then in our home helped us feel confident, prepared, and ready to take over and continue the work they started. I have two English bulldogs. (Grouper) and (Goliath) that are just under a year old that are notoriously stubborn dogs. We were having difficulty with them, listening and behaving and being able to take them any places so we reached out to Chad and spoke to him about training. He invited us over to tour the facility and check out where they do the training and explained how they only take a few dogs at a time so they can really spend time with each dog and not just rush the process we talked about schedule and they were able to get us in in one of the next sessions. The facility that they have built is amazing. It is very clean very well kept. It does not smell like dogs at all and they actually have someone on site all the time with the dogs which I loved. He took each one of the pups one at a time the first one for six weeks, which ended up being about 7 1/2 or eight weeks and overlapped with the second one for about a week and a half two weeks, then took the second pup and kept him for six weeks and integrated on both together at the last week to work with them both we are overly pleased with how the dogs react to us and play together and listen to us with every command. We were very nervous at first about leaving the dogs for such a long time and how they would react to us. There was no change in their attitude. They acted like they didn’t miss a beat. And you could actually tell the bond that they had made with both Chad and Kelly they actually seemed to really like being at their home. Chad and Kelly and Cole sent us videos all the time to show us the progress. We basically sat on the edge of our seats every day waiting for an update to see how they were doing. It was amazing to see the progress they were making having sent two dogs at different times we knew what to expect on the second dog but the first dog we had no idea what to expect. They made the process very easy and enjoyable and spent so much time at the end with the delivery of the dogs on how to work with them in the commands and are to this day still reaching out to us to make sure everything is good and that they are acting the way that they should. I can’t say enough about this experience. I would recommend this for any dog. I would never have another dog without taking it to them for training.

We couldn’t be more pleased with the results of my 1 year old boxer Kai training. Chas/Kelly/Cole demonstrated a real expertise for training the dog as well as the pawrents which is a very important aspect for having a good behavior and happy dog. Before meeting Chad/Kelly and visiting their facility we were unsure of leaving Kai for a long 6 weeks but Chad explained how the training goes and Kelly explained how they would communicate/update the progress. We were very pleased to receive regular texts/videos showing/describing Kai’s progress. It put our minds at easy. We got her back with training videos and cheat sheets which is very important the pawrents follow to the letter. Kelly/Chad made a follow up visit to be sure we were following their training/advice and retrain us in order to get the best of our dog. We highly recommend them

Walker K-9 Training took our very wild 6-month old chocolate lab puppy and gave her the consistency and structure that she needed to integrate into our family. She returned to us still a joyful, goofy puppy, but one that could chill out for a spell and follow commands. The best part was that after they trained our puppy, they spent all the time we needed to also train us humans. I cannot say enough amazing things about Walker K-9 training. Charlie spent four weeks with Chad, Kelly, and Cole. They sent us photos and videos frequently so we could watch his progress. They cared for him as if he were their own. We felt very comfortable having him there. Charlie came home a changed boy. He no longer pulls on lead, which I never thought would happen. He focuses on us rather than other people or dogs. He stays on place when people come to the house, which is great with older relatives. He used to go crazy with excitement and we feared he'd accidentally hurt someone. I am so excited that we have a pup we can now take places because he knows how to behave and we have learned how to lead him. Yes, they trained us to be better leaders for him too. We are immensely grateful for everything they have done for our family.

I can't imagine taking our two dogs to a better place than Walker K-9 Training. Our dogs are 3 and 2 years old. They were too wild and unmanageable to walk together and even difficult to walk individually. Having company at our house was always a challenge from the moment the door bell rang. We needed a solution. We enrolled both dogs in Walker K-9's 6 week program. We didn't see the dogs until the very end of the program. They were both transformed from the wild bunch to beautiful examples of obedient dogs. They are easy to walk and well behaved. A long list of poor behaviors were corrected. They are even more comfortable themselves knowing what it is they are supposed to do. When we walk by others we often are told, "What good doggies, so well behaved." Enrolling our two dogs at Walker K-9 was an excellent choice that should benefit us for many years to come.

Walker K9 Training has truly changed life with my Goldendoodle, Midas. The six-week program was smooth and supportive from start to finish. Around week five, I visited their facility for a hands-on owner training session, where I learned exactly how to reinforce his new skills. It was practical and easy to follow. My dog, Remington, would bolt out the front door, counter surf, and not listen when we called him. The bolting was the worse since we live on a busy street. I did some research into other dog training places and they were not suited to Remington’s needs. When touring the training area and meeting the trainers I knew this would be best place for him. The owners are exceptionally awesome and answered all the questions that I had. While he was away for the 6 week program (because of recall problems) we got many videos and photos which were always appreciated! Remington is still the same lovable dog but now he is well trained and listens. I highly recommend Walker K9 training!

My chocolate lab just completed his 4 week training and he came back a new dog. He is 6 years old and he wasn’t listening to me anymore. Since he’s been home he is more relaxed since he knows what is expected of him. Once he was dropped off from his program, Chad and Cole spent quite a bit of time with me, training me🤣. Wow! Can’t say enough! Best decision we could have made. Our Airdale Abbie is full of energy. We struggled with walks as she was pulling, jumping on people, and wanted to chase everything. First time having a dog professionally trained and thoroughly impressed! The trainers all were amazing! Kept us up to date with photos and videos every step of the way! They treated him like their own! Our puppy came back well trained and we have had the support we needed to continue the training every day at home! Off leash on leash on a boat or off our little guy is living his best life and we are enjoying having him even more now that he has the structure discipline in place! We were having some issues with our 7 year old female pit mix, and Chad’s 4 week training program was referred to us by a friend. Him and his team worked with Loki on really nailing basic obedience, controlling reactivity, and her behavior on the leash. Walker K9 training also spends the time to teach you how to take control and understand the training they use for corrections. We are so thrilled to have our dog back, and so much more confident about taking her out for leash walks and in public situations. Definitely recommend their program for on and off leash training!

Best decision ever!!! I have a 3.5 year old Belgian Malinois and with a baby on the way, decided that even though he is a mostly good boy (occasional impossible recall and repeat poultry assassin: HIGH PREY DRIVE), that professional intervention was in order. We did the 6 week program, in hopes of him returning with a better attention span, and Chad and Cole delivered a dog who listens, respects and is happy to work…. Or stay safely in down or place position while I work around/ with livestock (which previously would have ended shortly in disaster) On top of my pup being returned with a better mind and two fully functional ears, they took exceptional care of him too. He returned in exceptional health and was not denied any of the treats. Sending him away (under ten minutes from me) was so hard, but we lined up drop off with my delivery week, so I had peace of mind knowing he was in good hands any staying active. Finding a trainer/team who loves dogs more then money was the most important thing for me, and you can tell the truly love and care about my dog.

Let me start out by saying when we first got our german shepherd we struggled to socialize her. She would growl and bark at people to the point we couldn't even walk her to our mailbox if the neighbors were out. She lacked confidence and we were concerned because we wanted to take her places. I love my dog but after 2 years together he was running my house and my life in a very negative way. I got Randall as a pup of 3 months old off an add on Craigslist. As a veteran dog owner I thought this was going to be awesome, a walk in the park ( no pun intended ) NO IT WAS NOT!!! The first year together I just let him be a “ dog” but that led to bad behavior which I tried to correct by myself but failed. Unfortunately it got to the point of me being afraid around Randall. Afraid for myself and my 6 year old daughter. I start to consult with my vet, seeking help. Randall had become aggressive, biting and unpredictable. The vet recommended a full medical evaluation, Randall was in good heath. Next step was to get him neutered, which I did and vet said wait 4-6 months to see any change in behavior. 6 months later there was no change. The vet recommended putting Randall to sleep as they do not recommend rehoming aggressive dogs. My heart was broken. I started to look for trainers that would help but as soon as I mentioned Randall’s aggressive behavior they declined service. Randall and I were at the end of our journey with no hope until I found Walker K-9 Training. After several conversations with Chad I agreed to send Randall to their 6 week Board and Train Program. Throughout the 6 weeks I received pictures, videos and updates on Randall’s progress. Every time I got a text or video update, I was in awe … literally speechless! I truly cannot put in words my gratitude. I gave Chad and Kelly my last hope and they gave me back a lifetime of happiness with my best friend Randall. The quality of life for my daughter, Randall and myself is priceless and Walker K-9 Training provided that for us. We made the decision to use Walker K9 for Raven after being highly recommended by a rescue that is familiar with the Malinois breed . We have 2 female Mals Sophia who is 7 and high anxiety and Raven who just turned 2 they are both alpha females and would fight because Raven is a bully and resource guards food toys and humans .I have always been skeptical of board and train because of some horrific stories of bad trainers but when I first talked to Chad on the phone for our consultation I felt comfortable and knew I was making the right decision. We dropped Raven off and met Chad & Kelly toured the facility and I felt comfortable I was making the right decision.. I would get videos on a regular basis of her doing different trainings they were working on.Kelly and Cole took her out to a park and worked with her sit and stay commands off leash with distractions something I could not ever accomplish. Kelly worked with her down in the back seat of the car because she liked to hang on the console which is dangerous and now she jumps in I tell her down and she stays until told free.. I wish I would have found Walker K9 when Sophia was younger so she could experience how proper training can change a dogs life!!! If I could give them 10 stars it wouldn’t be enough! Chad & Kelly are amazing! I have a disability (MS) and needed my puppy to respect/understand my gait; cane and electric scooter since he kept bringing me to the floor. They accomplished all of this with him and so much more. They are always a phone call or text away if we have questions. They immediately respond AND come to the house without hesitation even after board and train is complete. Where do I start? PLEASE read if you are on the fence, hesitant, or don’t know where to turn in your current situation. I know this review is lengthy, but had I read a review like this when I started out searching for help, I could have saved myself and my pup so much stress, anxiety, time and money. I can tell you with absolute certainty that my pup River would not still be with me if it were not for Walker K-9! River, my Rhodesian Ridgeback is like no other. I have had RRs for 23+ years, I am very familiar with the breed, their needs, behaviors and even the strong, consistent training needed. My RRs have always come from a specific breeder family, but after loosing my soul dog Luke in 2020, I decided last year to rescue a Ridgeback this time around. I knew full well what that meant, I use to foster years ago and I am very aware that if you see an RR in rescue, the owners got in over their heads and the dog took over. Well, I’m still not sure to this day what River is made up of, but our guess is he was taken from mom too early, possibly released into the wild as well. This poor baby (big malnourished 1 yr old baby at the time) was WILD! His behavior was unruly, with no manners, he had a play/outdoor behavior that was aggressive and obsessive in nature and at times a bit frightening. Although River never came after me with intention of harming me, he certainly did NOT understand that I was his Alpha and not his rope/chew toy or fellow RR. Rivers behavior became so unbearable, even for seasoned, trained and aware me, that he brought me to tears multiple times as I lay on the ground after being body slammed so hard by him. At my wits end, I sent River away for 6 weeks to a boarder/trainer in the area (not Walker). This was typically against my better judgment, but this was the last hope for River and I. Needless to say, that did not work out or I would not be here posting this review. River came back the same if not worse. In tears one day talking in general among other dog people at one of my local Police Departments that I work with, I was asked if I had given Chad a call yet. Chad of WalkerK-9 Training, how did I NOT think of him in the first place?!?! That afternoon, I was on the phone in tears with Chad. I’m not sure how he does it, but he not only trains dogs but he also calms their humans! After crying it out, I heard a calm voice say, “Rivers behavior is very trainable/fixable, let me meet him and we will create a plan specifically to his needs AND yours.” After the first training, I had already noticed a shift in Rivers obedience. I was also given the helm and put back in control, not River, not Chad, but ME. I was re established as Alpha and shown what needed to be worked on with River and myself. I practiced consistently what I was taught and River began to see me as his Alpha, not his playmate/toy. Rivers demeanor and attentiveness had shifted almost immediately, but was absolutely noticeable in a consistent manner in that first week. Chad checked in with me regularly, we had training discussions over the phone and in person. The training follow ups were with me at the helm, Chad standing by and offering instruction and correction, with praise. Had you asked me a year ago how River was doing, you would have learned that he was no longer with me. This past year has been incredible, River and I truly owe Chad and Walker K-9 so much! River and I walk in public every chance we have at parks and preserves. When people see River walking towards them I am often stopped so that River can be admired and praised for his behavior, which is always followed up by the question, “How is is so well behaved?” The answer is easy, he and I were trained by Chad at Walker K-9. River sometimes visits Walker K-9 for boarding, I know that Chad, Kelly and family care for him and love him as if he was one of their own! I can’t possibly write enough about Walker K-9 and Chad that expresses my gratitude, respect and whole hearted appreciation, there are just not enough words!

I had a very stubborn dog. And then I decided to get my stubborn dog her very own puppy. What was I thinking? They were out of control!!! Walker K9 Training was referred to me by a friend. And after a few months of chaos, I finally decided to make the call!! I’m so glad I did!!! I decided on the 6 week training as to better my chances for control. Chad, Kelly and Cole were amazing! My stubborn dog listens to me!! And my puppy is now manageable!! My dogs fell in love with them instantly! (And I’m pretty sure they miss my dogs too!) We entrusted our 14 month old, Old English Sheepdog, Zoe, to Chad, Cole and Kelly of Walker K-9 Training from late April until June, in the 6 week program. She was wild and very disobedient. After the 6 weeks, we were re-introduced to Zoe, who appears to be a different dog. She goes to and stays at her ”place” until released. She heals on a loose leash, sits, when commanded, and more than anything, listens to commands. Chad and Cole re-introduced Zoe to us and taught us the “ropes” for 3 hours. I highly recommend Walker K-9 Training to change your dog to a well mannered member of your family!

I used Walker K-9 training for a two-week board and train. The dog I dropped off is not the dog I got back. For reference I have a one year old Great Dane, who knew basic commands but did not listen, had no manners, would pull me around on a walk and was kind of a jerk. I now have a Great Dane who listens to commands, is much more polite and I am able to walk on a loose leash. I have seen Chad in action so I know he is an amazing trainer, but I was honestly surprised at what he was able to accomplish in such a short amount of time. Chad and family took such good care of my boy, and their facility is truly top notch. It is such a pleasure to have a well trained dog our home. I would 10/10 recommend Walker K-9 Training!!

Plus, Kelley would occasionally send me short videos or photos of Rolo, that especially made my day. I loved seeing the progress that he was making. I can now be confident that I wont be pulled over (Rolo used to tug hard and also try to get me to drop the leash) and now he is a good citizen when I walk him in the neighborhood. Chad and Kelly Walker of Walker K9 Training are two of the most genuine, caring people I know. They truly love each dog , as if it were their own. My dog, Holly, a two yr old doberman, stayed with them for a month for board and train. The facility is immaculate, the individual care is stellar, and my dog loves it there. Recently, we had a situation , where Holly got loose and, because of her training with Chad, she did a great turn around, when I did the recall, and came back immediately. I am eternally grateful to Walker K9 Training for giving Holly and me continued support. Training the owner is equally important, for continued success. Holly is well mannered, very confident, and happy. We can not say enough about the awesome experience we have had.

I had a problem understanding prong collar and size . They helped me with it for my German shepherd. Very informative . Knew what they were doing . She was not being trained so they didn't have to help me . I would definitely take her to them but cannot afford at this time . I was very impressed. And thankful 😇

Want to start off by saying this boarding program where my pup stayed for the duration of 5 weeks has been one of the cleanest and well maintained training facilities that I have seen, and I searched around When a friend referred me to K9 training Facility. Chad and his wife went above and beyond with Gunnar. Gunnar had a lot of health issues in his first four months of life and we spoiled him terribly. From. the moment I met chad I knew that Gunnar was going to be in great hands and well taken care of. Chad and Kelly make you feel like you are family as soon as you walk into their training facility. I was able to see where my precious pup would be receiving training to where he would play and sleep (A/C). I took Gunnar for the 4 week training program where within a week, I was receiving multiple videos and pictures of his accomplishments. I was flabbergasted at the training he received on a daily basis which he caught onto fairly quickly. From the first week of training I had no doubts in my mind that at 5 weeks he was going to be well trained. Chad was very friendly and extremely helpful in any questions you had at any time throughout the day- Never let a call or text go unanswered. Chad and Kelly brought Gunnar home after his training and spent hours with me at home making sure I felt comfortable with all the commands and training Gunnar received. Chad has actually come back to my house a couple times with some issues that I was having with Gunnar getting his collars on in the morning. I would highly recommend chad and his wife over and over Your pup/dog would not be any better hands than theirs for training

My puppy, Angel, was 9 months old when she went to stay with Walker K-9 Training. My son was hesitant about doing a Board and Train for a little over a month, simply because he and Angel are attached at the hip. After dropping Angel off my son felt much better, thanks to Chad and Kelly taking time to show us around and tell us where, when and how Angel would be trained. Throughout her time at training, my son and I regularly received photos and/or videos of how Angel's training was coming along. This made my son and I extremely comfortable with Angel being gone. As for the facilities here, they are amazing. I was so impressed by the way everything is setup and how it works. When we went back to Walker K-9 Training's facility for "our" training, I was so happy. Not only was Angel not doing things we didn't want, such as jumping up to greet us, but she was doing everything so well. She was learning everything we wanted. Sit, down, stay, heel (without pulling lol) and to my amazement recall, she was actually happy and developing muscle tone. When Angel was dropped off to us after her training, Chad & Kelly, spent multiple hours making sure my son was comfortable with and knew how to continue her training. Walker K-9 Training has changed our lives. Angel is definitely happier, more attentive and way more connected to me, not just my son. Since Angel returned home, she has not been on a leash. Even though Angel did not go through the off-leash training. The skills she was taught has allowed for a more enjoyable life with our Angel. She has grown to love to play fetch, since she is not leashed, and cannot get enough of it. She does not jump up on my son's grandparents at all and oddly has formed a very strong bond with grandpa. lol. My son has also trained Angel on some new things, such as: spin, fist bump (but she uses he paw) and she has finally become a beach water dog. Olaf had been through 2 other training courses and I was at my wits end. I honestly thought he had no hope….until I met Chad and Kelly. Olaf did a 6 week program with them, he’s been home for over a month and is THRIVING thanks to their training! He is not as reactive when he sees other dogs, and I am now able to take him to my office. I cannot thank them enough for turning my hopes into reality. They are genuine, honest, and committed. Once I get a Olaf a sister, she will definitely be going to train with Chad and Kelly.

Chad drove my pup 3 hours and a half back home at the 6 week mark and spent hours with me at home making sure I felt comfortable with all the commands and training he received. He did not have any training nor knew any basics. Now he’ll fully trained on leash and off leash. Sit, down, heal, recall on commands, stay, doesn’t rush out of cage in the morning and many more amazing training and tricks. Additionally taught tru how to fetch lol which to me was super important. Less time I have to spend when conditioning him and having him exercise. I wouldn’t recommend any other dog trainer other than chad and his wife. Even to this day after his training I’m still in contact with Chad and he has no issues with texting or calling him to get clarification on certain trainings to enhance tru’s ability to advance his training.

We couldn't be more thrilled with the exceptional training that Walker K9 provided for our beloved Rocko! We decided to enroll Rocko in the four-week board training program, and it has truly been a game-changer for our furry friend. From the moment we dropped off Rocko, we could tell that he was in good hands. I was super hesitant about sending my dog to a board and train program just because I could not imagine being without him for so long. I reached out to Chad months before sending my boy Bruce and immediately felt comfortable. I went and met him and his family and knew right then our boy would be in excellent hands. I'm a 56 year old woman with now 3 cane corsos ( 2 young adults and now an 8 month old) and knew I needed help! Best decision ever. Bruce now a 3 year old (almost 4) 115lb unaltered male (he was 7 months when he went for training)and he's perfect! Beau the baby is half way through his training and came to us at 5 months old after living in his crate 23 hours a day with zero knowledge or training of any sorts (including potty training). I would have never took him in had I not known Chad and team would help us get him where he beeds to be. We are so thankful to have Walker K9 on speed dial and trust me....he hears from me regularly!
